Doceo Connect is designed to help parents and students manage academic activities, including attendance tracking, homework, assignments, schedules, fee payments, and document requests. Since most transactions involve institutional fees, refund eligibility is subject to the respective school's policies.
This policy explains the conditions under which refunds may be considered, including duplicate payments, transaction failures, and technical errors, while clarifying that academic fee refunds are managed by the institution, not Doceo Connect.
1. General Refund Policy
- Payments made through Doceo Connect for tuition fees, exam fees, and other school-related services are generally non-refundable.
- Refund requests must be directed to the respective school or institution, as Doceo Connect serves only as a payment processing platform.
- Users must verify all details before making a payment, as incorrect transactions may not be eligible for refunds.
2. Refund Eligibility
A. Tuition & School-Related Fees
- Refunds for tuition fees, examination fees, or other school payments are subject to the institution's refund policy.
- If a user wishes to request a refund, they must contact the school directly for approval.
- Doceo Connect does not process refunds for academic fees unless explicitly authorized by the institution.
B. Duplicate or Erroneous Payments
- If a payment is accidentally made twice, users can raise a refund request within 7 days of the transaction.
- Refunds for duplicate payments will only be issued after verification with the institution and payment gateway.
C. Technical Issues & Failed Transactions
- If a payment is deducted but the transaction fails, the amount is usually automatically reversed by the bank within 5-7 working days.
- If the amount is not credited back, users should first check with their bank before raising a request with Doceo support.
- Refund requests for failed transactions must be submitted within 7 days, along with valid proof of payment.
3. Non-Refundable Cases
- Fees paid for academic purposes (tuition, exam, or school services) that the institution does not authorize for a refund.
- Requests made after the institution's specified refund period.
- User errors, such as incorrect amount paid or wrong recipient details.
- Fees for services already availed, such as bonafide certificates, transfer certificates (TC), or leave applications.
4. Refund Process & Timelines
- Refunds, if approved, will be processed within 7-14 working days through the original payment method.
- Users must submit refund requests via the institution’s administration or the in-app support section.
- Doceo Connect will only process refunds authorized by the institution and is not responsible for disputes regarding school fee refunds.

- Use the Help & Support section in the Doceo Connect app for payment-related issues.
- Reach out to Doceo’s customer support for technical transaction failures or duplicate payments.
